You may train just the Competition Pause Table, or just the Contact Trainer. Putting them together with the included special adaptor allows you to train the concept of the Dog Walk.
The Competition Pause Table:
Regulation size 35" x 35" wood top with routed edges for safety, and is framed in with a 3" fascia. It is painted with exterior contact-zone yellow, and infused with sand for a reliable traction surface (so your dog doesn't slip off). The frame is impressively sturdy and won't sag, tilt, or tip under normal usage, even for the largest of breeds. With this table you get all 4 sets of legs needed for both AKC and USDAA height requirements (8", 12", 16" and 24"). The legs are easy to change out without any tools needed. Comes with a carrying bag to hold all the leg inserts.
The Contact Trainer features:
Ideal for training the contacts (the yellow zones), our Contact Trainer gives you the ability to train the A-frame AND the Dog walk without the cost (and space issues) of owning both! One side is a small a-frame, and the other a dog-walk plank, connected together by a quick-release hinge pin. Wonderfully portable! The a-frame side measures 46" long by 34" wide. The dog-walk ramp is tapered from 12" wide on the bottom to 34" at the top, and is 70" long. (The dog-walk side breaks down into two pieces for shipping and easier portability). The height is easily adjustable from approximately 12" to 32" by changing the length of the support chain. An aluminum-channel frame and wood top makes it lightweight yet highly durable. It is treated with two coats of exterior sand-infused paint in our popular royal-blue and yellow color combination, and it has slats every 12".
The Combined set up features:
By combining them together, you can create an expanded training Dog Walk. This arrangement allows critical training and exercises that substantiate the successful behavior with contact zones and gets your dog used to activities of the Dog Walk that involve inclines, balance, and confidence. Training with the Combo will also reinforce behavior even if your dog already has mastered the Dog Walk.
