Closed Tunnel & Chute
"Combo"...
Beginner's
Intro: Chutes are a part of an obstacle
called the "Closed Tunnel", which is comprised of a flat chute
attached to a short tunnel-like opening (typically a barrel). AKC suspended the use of the Closed Tunnel in competitions. Though many people are still particularly fond of their function for use in confidence training, as well as their fun factor when used at home, kennels, and doggy daycares.
Totally
portable! This wonderful closed tunnel "Combo" comes with a FABRIC BARREL, a
CHUTE, and a CARRYING BAG - all for one low price. The lightweight rip-stop nylon chute is
8' long with an 88" circumference exit size. It attaches to the end of a 3 foot fabric tunnel
(made of a heavier
canvas-like
material) with velcro strips. The tunnel is 22" in diameter (good for most dogs except the largest of breeds). The wire rings (in the tunnel) are sewn internally in the
lining (nothing will catch on the dog). The tunnel compacts (like a
slinky), and everything fits into its own carrying bag, weighing only about 8
lbs! Color: Royal Blue.
Optional: This item comes with
a little "stake and cord" kit for helping to stake down the
tunnel from rolling. A more secure cradle brace is also
available, especially useful for use on solid ground. You would
only need one.
