You may train just the Competition Pause Table, or just the Mini-A-Frame. Putting them together with the included special adaptor allows you to train the concept of the Dog Walk.
The Competition Pause Table:
Regulation size 35" x 35" wood top with routed edges for safety, and is framed in with a 3" fascia. It is painted with exterior contact-zone yellow, and infused with sand for a reliable traction surface (so your dog doesn't slip off). The frame is impressively sturdy and won't sag, tilt, or tip under normal usage, even for the largest of breeds. With this table you get all 4 sets of legs needed for both AKC and USDAA height requirements (8", 12", 16" and 24"). The legs are easy to change out without any tools needed. The Mini A-Frame features:
Don't underestimate its size. The Mini-A-frame boasts all the high quality of our full-size frame. It just packs a smaller (more manageable) punch. The dimensions are 46" tall by 33-1/2" wide. It features a rust-proof aluminum frame under a rubber coated aluminum top. It is absolutely maintenance free! It has rubber grip-strips (slats) applied every 12" inches. To take it apart for transport, simply tip it on its side and pull out the aluminum hinge pin at the top. To adjust it to any height (as low as 12" off the ground), tip it the side, lengthen or shorten the chain, then tip it back up. At full recommended height, it stands about 32" tall. Though this is a smaller version of the full sized A-frame, it allows training that substantiates the successful behavior with contact zones and gets your dog used to activities of the A-frame that involve inclines, balance, and confidence. Training with the Mini-A-Frame will help your dog gain confidence and knowledge needed to tackle the big obstacle, and will also reinforce behavior even if your dog already has mastered the full sized A-frame. The Combined set up features:
By combining them together, you can create a training Dog Walk. This arrangement allows critical training and exercises that substantiate the successful behavior with contact zones and gets your dog used to activities of the Dog Walk that involve inclines, balance, and confidence. Training with the Combo will also reinforce behavior even if your dog already has mastered the Dog Walk.
